Currently, we have five different kinds of reviews. Everyone will at least have a review using the basic checklist every year. Instructors are also required to have at least one full peer review. If there are no major issues, and a supervisor hasn't requested a peer review, the instructor can then choose the method of review.
The basic checklist is a list of minimum requirements for design. Faculty may also opt for the Peer Review, which is more extensive and can also lead to certification as a Quality Instructor. With the certification, reviews expire after three years. Faculty may also opt to do unofficial or official Quality Matters Reviews.
