Fondation FYSSEN (France)

The aim of the FYSSEN Foundation is to encourage “all forms of scientific inquiry in cognitive mechanisms, including thought and reasoning, which underly animal and human behavior; their biological and cultural bases, and phylogenetic and ontogenetic development”.

The Foundation encourages all the researches relative to the capacities to reason and more widely in the cognitive processes to animals and man as well as in the biological and cultural foundations of these processes.

UKRI Centre for Doctoral Training in Accountable, Responsible and Transparent AI (ART-AI) at the University of Bath. (PhD)

Commonwealth Scholarships (Masters, PhD, Postdoctoral)

Various scholarships are available, including PhD funding, as well as master's and postdoctoral funding. To find out which scholarships you can apply for, select your country from the list here.

These scholarships are funded by the UK Department for Education in conjunction with UK universities to support world class research and to contribute to UK higher education and research to help sustain international recognition of the UK higher education system and for the benefit of wider society. The CSC does not offer scholarships to candidates from high income Commonwealth countries who have already started their PhD study in the UK.

Fulbright U.S. Student Program

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is the largest U.S. exchange program offering opportunities for students and young professionals to undertake international graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and primary and secondary school teaching worldwide. The program currently awards approximately 2,000 grants annually in all fields of study and operates in more than 140 countries worldwide.

Individual Fellowships with Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions

This involves full funding of living, travel and family costs for experienced researchers across the world. Applicants need a doctoral degree or at least four years’ full-time research experience by the time of the call deadline.
