Chairperson / Vice-Chairperson
Instill the vision, mission, roles and responsibilities of members and committee members in the CCA
Working with college, teachers and instructors, set the goals of the CCA and the committee
Maintain the efficient running of practices
Maintain and ensure discipline and the morale of the members
Liaison between teachers and the CCA members
Keep a record of the attendance
Oversee the other committee members (admin comm and/or music comm)
Plan and initiate internal and external events together with rest of the Exco (eg. Open House, publicity, concerts, VIA)
Secretary
Document attendance and update it, to communicate with the Chairperson and teachers
Take down minutes of the comm meetings and share with the comm and tutors
Maintain and ensure discipline of the club (attendance, attire- general readiness)
Student Conductor/Concertmaster/Dance Captain
Steer the artistic direction of the CCA, in line with the artistic vision set by the instructor
Ensure that the CCA group is kept on track musically and artistically
Conduct warm-ups and physical training
Conduct the CCA group as they practice; give constructive feedback
Work with the conductor in realising his/her music direction
Help to guide the section leaders and ensure that they are leading their sectionals correctly/effectively
Section Leader
Oversee the overall welfare, attendance and discipline your section members
Ensure that sectionals are run effectively
Lead the sectional for practice; give feedback to help our section in their musicality and/or techniques
Quarter Master
In charge of stock taking of musical instruments
Manages and records loan of instruments
In charge of general upkeep and cleanliness of rehearsal venues
Librarian
Keeps the music scores in a systematic and organised manner in the relevant music/CCA rooms
Helps tutors / section leaders / conductors in making copies of the Music scores
Treasurer
Manages and oversees money matters within the CCA e.g. collection of funds/payments
VIA and Publicity Representative
Organises and oversees the club VIA efforts
Manages and maintains the club’s social media accounts to ensure an updated online presence
In charge of creating publicity materials for the club ie. Open House/Concerts
