PTO Team Members

Megan has served as our PTO president for four years. She has a passion for planning, fundraising, and helping others. She and her family are native Texans. Since relocating to Wake County, she has had the privilege to stay home with my kiddos and "dive into all things kids!"  Her husband, Colby, is a financial consultant. They have four children-- three boys ages 17, 13 and 9,  and one daughter, who is a sassy 6. Her two youngest children are at CCA. She is has ten years of experience serving as a PTO officer.

Liz Moss is serving as the PTO VP of Fundraising for the thurd year. She is a full-time mom, with a 3rd grader at CCA and an adorable 4yo daughter.  She and her family love CCA. She is delighted to be part of the PTO team. Liz is the amazing volunteer who organizes our Fun Run, Family Nights, Holiday Shop, and Book Fairs. She is passionate about planning parties, and also enjoys crafting, and sewing.

Jes Sloan has served for three years as PTO secretary and communications. She has two children attending CCA, in 4th and 7th grades. Her oldest child graduated from CCA and is now in high school. She loves CCA "for the fantastic curriculum and warm and responsive teachers and staff." She is a native North Carolinian, born and raised in Charlotte. She graduated from UNC School of Medicine in 2008 and is a family physician with her own practice,  in "downtown" Angier. She also volunteers with H3, the Sanford Street Medicine program, helping care for our homeless community members. She attends Trinity Lutheran Church in Sanford, NC. In her spare time, she loves hiking, singing, reading, forcing her children to play board games, and napping.

Casey Evans is serving as the PTO Treasurer. This is her third year as a PTO officer. Casey has one child in the third grade at CCA and two children in college. Casey is the proud wife of Kevin Evans, who is a Captain with The City of Raleigh Fire Department. Casey’s business background and knowledge of accounting comes from over 15 years in Commercial Real Estate Asset Management and Business Development.

Erin is serving as the Chair of the Hospitality Committee for her second year. She is a proud Stay-at-Home-Mom of two boys (and a husband). Born and raised in Greenville, SC, she graduated from Clemson and moved to North Carolina. She and her family now live in Fuquay. One of her boys is a 2nd grader here at CCA and their 17yo goes to Willow Spring High School. Erin states that she "loves the community feel" of Carolina Charter. Erin loves reading, hanging out with her family, and snuggling with her dog.

Sam is new to the PTO Team this year, but not new to volunteering at CCA! She will be organizing and running our Spirit Wear store and Spirit Nights.
