There are three prices for memberships:

First Household Family Member $20
Additional Household Family Members $5
Family who are also teachers or staff at the school: $10

What is the PTO?

Parent Teacher Organizations are independent organizations and believe that every school is unique and has individual needs and goals.  Carolina Charter PTO is not part of a national association, and therefore, we do not pay state and national association fees. This means that every dollar raised by Carolina Charter PTO directly benefits our school!  

What does the PTO do?

A lot! Some of our projects include teacher and staff meals, snacks and drinks in the breakroom, and teacher grants for special projects. We also organize events like the Fall Festival, Winter Fun Day, Teacher Appreciation Week, the Middle School Dance, the Fun Run, and more!

What if I can't volunteer?

We would still love to have you! Membership does not require volunteering. Join our community to learn more about what’s going on at the school and get to know our CCA families. Share your thoughts and ideas!

Who can join the PTO?

The Carolina Charter PTO is for any family member or guardian of a Carolina Charter Academy student, as well as any teacher or staff member of Carolina Charter Academy. We hope every family will get involved!

Is there a cost to join the PTO?

Yes. Carolina Charter PTO yearly dues help support our school. Because we are not affiliated with a national organization, all dues go directly back to the school. For 2023/2024, dues are $20 for one adult family member, $5 for each additional adult, and $10 for teachers or staff.
