With rigorous precision, this group has preserved the principles of the original Montessori Assistants to Infancy School, mainly through the experiences of training teachers and administrating many private and public 0-3 childcare centers in Northern Italy. And to this end, we hold to be true that it is essential and urgent that we go back to our roots and the luminous intuitions of Montessori, to her operating instructions: put the scientific pedagogy into action.
Observe, verify and then theorize; welcome others without prejudice or diagnosis; respect each individual in his or her need to concentrate and to have freedom, because real socialization is only born from healthy, non-violent people, that which Montessori called a cohesive society. This has been our experiences from the very beginning and what we have learned from over 40 years as Percorsi per Crescere and more than 70 years as the Assistants to Infancy Montessori School (AIM).
