Riga is a beautiful city. The city was founded in 1201 and today the historical center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, rich in beautiful architecture. The Latvian culture I experienced is warm hearted, and the people open minded and hard working.

Chapter 2 "il Neonato" (the newborn) was edited down for the performance to a succinct message on how we must realize how important it is to treat the newborn according to his or her innate needs.

Julia and her team of organizers brought together educators from all over the country and other neighboring states as well to learn about Montessori education. Baiba Crumins Grazzini gave presentations and workshops on the elementary years and Elina Rautasalo gave presentations and workshops on the Casa dei Bambini age group.
