Welcome to the Charles Best Tutoring Services
The Charles Best Tutoring Services is a student-run organization focused on supporting student success through free, high-quality peer tutoring. We foster an inclusive and encouraging environment where students can ask questions, deepen their understanding, and gain confidence in their academic abilities. Our programs are led by committed student tutors who provide structured support across a variety of subjects while maintaining strong academic and professional standards. In addition to academic growth, we emphasize leadership, collaboration, and community involvement, helping both tutors and students develop valuable skills and contribute positively to the school community.

Need in-person assistance for a subject you find difficult? The CBSS Tutoring Services employs many excelling tutors who can meet with you during or after school to help you improve your grades.
In-School Support
In-School Support
The Math Tutorial Room (located in the Math Department Office) is open in blocks 1-5 for students to come by to ask questions or to use the space to study. Peer tutors are able to help with math 9 and 10.
Calculus Clinic
Calculus Clinic
The Calculus Clinic is a weekly after-school workshop on Mondays designed to help students enrolled in Calculus 12 or AP Calculus AB/BC. Anyone can come by for help with calculus concepts, test prep, or get guidance for sitting the AP exam in May.
