The Station

The Central Bicol Experiment Station is one of the six Research Outreach Stations (ROS) of the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office No. 5. Located at San Agustin, Pili, Camarines Sur. It has four operating units:

1. Rice Seed Production Unit produces quality and registered seeds, catering to the seed growers and farmers.

2. Vegetable and Legume Seed Production Unit produces quality open-pollinated vegetable and legume varieties.

3.  Plant Propagation and Nursery Development Unit produces quality planting materials such as pili, cacao, and other fruit-bearing trees.

4.  Research and Development Unit undertakes information generation, experimental trials, evaluation, and commercialization of matured technologies
