Description: Installation of a new entrance awning at a Contributing rated, five-story, commercial building. 

Previous ARC Recommendations:

07/23/24: The ARC recommended conceptual approval with the details to be worked out at the staff level.  The ARC stated that the new awning needed further detailing of water management including a recessed trough and downspouts.  The soffit at the underside of the awning should be painted or removed, as the stained wood soffit is not appropriate for the style of the building.  The fully glass door approval is contingent upon BBSA approval, but the door can be replaced in kind.
