Caviq Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of Caviq, an application developed and published by Mindraith Forge.
By using Caviq, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Caviq Is
Caviq is a personal financial organization, capital tracking, and calculation tool.
A simple way to understand Caviq is as a smart financial notebook.
Caviq helps users record, organize, calculate, and review information such as:
- account balances;
- cash;
- capital;
- profits and losses;
- receivables;
- payables;
- debts;
- loans;
- obligations;
- investments;
- withdrawals;
- deposits;
- financial movements;
- historical snapshots.
Caviq primarily performs calculations using information entered, updated, selected, or confirmed by the user.
2. Caviq Is Not a Bank
Caviq is not:
- a bank;
- a financial institution;
- a payment processor;
- a cryptocurrency exchange;
- a cryptocurrency wallet;
- a money-transfer service;
- a broker;
- a lender;
- an investment fund.
Caviq does not hold, receive, transfer, custody, or control users' money or cryptocurrency.
Caviq cannot perform transactions on a user's behalf.
3. No Access to Your Banking Accounts
Caviq is designed primarily for manual financial tracking.
Unless a future feature is explicitly introduced and clearly disclosed, Caviq does not connect directly to your bank account.
Caviq does not require or request:
- online banking passwords;
- banking PIN codes;
- card PIN codes;
- cryptocurrency private keys;
- seed phrases;
- exchange passwords.
Users should never enter such credentials into Caviq notes or other fields.
4. User-Provided Information
The financial results displayed by Caviq depend on information provided by the user.
This may include:
- current balances;
- exchange rates;
- deposits;
- withdrawals;
- transactions;
- debts;
- loans;
- investments;
- account classifications.
The user is responsible for ensuring that information entered into Caviq is accurate and complete.
If incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or duplicated information is entered, calculations produced by Caviq may also be incorrect.
5. Profit and Loss Calculations
Caviq may calculate or estimate financial results such as:
- total capital;
- available balance;
- estimated trading profit;
- gains;
- losses;
- receivables;
- payables;
- changes between financial snapshots.
These calculations are informational tools.
They are based on the information available to Caviq and the calculation rules implemented by the application.
Caviq does not guarantee that an estimated profit, loss, balance, capital value, or financial report is identical to the result that would be produced by a bank, accountant, auditor, tax authority, exchange, broker, or other financial institution.
6. No Financial or Investment Advice
Caviq does not provide financial, investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice.
Information generated by Caviq should not be considered a recommendation to:
- buy;
- sell;
- trade;
- invest;
- lend;
- borrow;
- transfer funds;
- enter into a financial transaction.
Users remain responsible for their own financial decisions.
Where professional advice is required, users should consult an appropriately qualified professional.
7. P2P Trading
Caviq may be useful to users who engage in P2P trading or other forms of financial activity.
Caviq is only a tracking and organizational tool.
Caviq does not:
- execute P2P trades;
- provide counterparties;
- guarantee trades;
- verify counterparties;
- receive P2P payments;
- guarantee profits;
- protect users from transaction losses or fraud.
Users are solely responsible for transactions conducted through external platforms.
8. Financial Institutions and Brand Names
Caviq may display names or logos of banks, payment services, exchanges, wallets, or other institutions to make manually tracked accounts easier to identify.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Mindraith Forge and Caviq are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or officially connected to those institutions.
All third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
9. Data Storage
Caviq is designed with a local-first approach.
Financial information is stored locally on the user's device by default.
Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate access protection and backups for their devices and data.
10. Backup and Restoration
Caviq may provide manual or automatic backup and restoration features.
A backup is a convenience and recovery tool and should not be treated as an absolute guarantee against data loss.
Users remain responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important information.
Mindraith Forge cannot guarantee recovery in every situation, including:
- device damage;
- lost credentials;
- corrupted storage;
- user deletion;
- cloud-service failure;
- incompatible external modifications;
- circumstances outside Caviq's reasonable control.
11. Cloud Backup
Caviq Pro may include optional automatic cloud backup.
Availability may depend on:
- subscription status;
- platform;
- internet connection;
- Google Account;
- cloud-provider availability;
- application version.
Cloud services may occasionally experience failures, delays, outages, synchronization issues, or storage limitations.
Caviq does not guarantee uninterrupted cloud availability.
12. Advertisements
The free version of Caviq may contain advertisements.
Advertisements may be provided by third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob.
Advertising content is controlled primarily by the advertising provider.
The presence of an advertisement in Caviq does not mean that Mindraith Forge recommends, guarantees, or endorses the advertiser, product, investment, service, or offer.
Users should independently evaluate advertisements before interacting with them.
13. Rewarded Ads
Caviq may allow users to voluntarily watch rewarded advertisements.
A defined number of completed rewarded advertisements may provide a temporary in-app benefit, such as a limited advertising-free period.
Rewards:
- have no cash value;
- cannot be transferred;
- cannot be sold;
- are not cryptocurrency;
- are not financial assets;
- may expire according to the conditions displayed in Caviq.
14. Caviq Pro
Caviq may offer a Pro subscription.
Features may include:
- removal of regular advertisements;
- automatic cloud backup;
- additional services introduced in future versions.
The exact benefits of Caviq Pro will be displayed in the application before purchase.
15. Subscription Billing
Where Caviq Pro is purchased through Google Play, payments and subscription management are handled through Google Play according to Google's applicable terms.
Subscriptions may automatically renew unless cancelled according to the conditions shown during purchase.
Users can manage or cancel applicable subscriptions through Google Play.
Deleting Caviq from a device does not necessarily cancel an active subscription.
16. Free Trials
Caviq may offer free or promotional trial periods.
Where a trial converts to a paid subscription, the applicable terms, duration, price, and renewal conditions will be displayed before the user begins the trial.
Users are responsible for cancelling before the end of the trial if they do not wish the subscription to continue.
17. Prices
Subscription prices may differ by:
- country;
- currency;
- tax;
- platform;
- promotional offer;
- Google Play pricing rules.
Prices shown by Google Play at the time of purchase are the applicable purchase prices.
18. Application Availability
Mindraith Forge aims to keep Caviq reliable and available.
However, Caviq may occasionally be unavailable or experience errors because of:
- maintenance;
- software defects;
- operating-system changes;
- device incompatibility;
- third-party service outages;
- network problems;
- security updates;
- circumstances outside our control.
Continuous or uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
19. Updates
Caviq may receive updates to:
- correct errors;
- improve security;
- change calculations;
- improve compatibility;
- add or remove features;
- comply with laws;
- comply with Google Play or third-party platform requirements.
Some features may require a newer version of Caviq.
20. User Responsibility
Users are responsible for:
- verifying important balances and financial information;
- keeping their device secure;
- maintaining appropriate backups;
- protecting account credentials;
- reviewing calculations before making financial decisions;
- complying with applicable laws and regulations;
- complying with the terms of banks, exchanges, payment providers, and other services they use.
21. Prohibited Use
Users must not use Caviq to:
- violate applicable law;
- facilitate fraud;
- steal or misuse another person's information;
- distribute malware;
- interfere with the security of Caviq;
- reverse engineer or exploit Caviq where prohibited by law;
- manipulate advertisements or advertising rewards fraudulently;
- attempt to obtain paid features without authorization.
22. Intellectual Property
Caviq's original software, user-interface elements, graphics, documentation, branding, and other original content are owned by Mindraith Forge or used under appropriate rights.
Third-party names, logos, trademarks, libraries, and services remain the property of their respective owners.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Caviq to the user.
23. No Guarantee of Profit
Caviq does not guarantee financial profit.
Use of Caviq cannot eliminate the risks associated with:
- P2P trading;
- cryptocurrency;
- currency exchange;
- lending;
- borrowing;
- investments;
- banking;
- payment services;
- commercial activities.
Historical results displayed in Caviq do not guarantee future performance.
24. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mindraith Forge is not responsible for financial losses or damages resulting solely from reliance on:
- incorrect user-entered data;
- estimated calculations;
- outdated balances;
- inaccurate exchange rates entered by the user;
- transactions performed outside Caviq;
- investment decisions;
- P2P transactions;
- fraud by third parties;
- loss of device access;
- external service outages;
- failure to maintain appropriate backups.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection or other mandatory law.
25. No Professional Relationship
Using Caviq does not create:
- a banker-client relationship;
- an investment adviser-client relationship;
- an accountant-client relationship;
- a broker-client relationship;
- a lender-borrower relationship
between the user and Mindraith Forge.
26. Privacy
Use of Caviq is also subject to the Caviq Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how information is stored, processed, protected, and handled.
27. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated when:
- Caviq changes;
- new services are introduced;
- subscription terms change;
- applicable laws change;
- platform requirements change.
The most recent version will be made available through the official Caviq website or application.
28. Applicable Law
These Terms are subject to applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory rights that users may have under consumer protection, privacy, or other applicable laws in their country.
