FAQs

What is Cats of Eton Centris?

Cats of Eton Centris (CoEC) is a non-profit private group of people who have banded together to promote the welfare of the community cats of Eton Centris.

We facilitate the feeding, upkeep, and adoption of our community cats with the support of the staff and management of Eton Centris and our volunteers.

We promote Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Release and spread awareness about the community cats and the importance of caring for strays.

I cannot take care of my cat anymore. Can Cats of Eton Centris take them?

Cats of Eton Centris is not a shelter. Please refrain from abandoning your cats in the area because it will disrupt the delicate ecosystem and hierarchy of the existing members of the community.

The community is carefully monitored with CCTV cameras. The volunteers can and will file a case against you if you are found to have abandoned your animals.

Can I bring home a cat from the community?

Yes, you may, but only after filling out an Adoption Form. We carry out a stringent screening process to ensure that community cats go to loving homes.

What can I do to help?

What is TNVR?

TNVR, or Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Release, is a responsible and humane program meant to control the breeding and overpopulation of strays.

For CoEC, the cats who are abandoned in the area are caught, sterilized (neutered or spayed), vaccinated, and then released. You can identify these cats by checking if they are ear-tipped.
