What to Expect

Your Creative Journey Begins at Veselka We can’t wait to welcome you to this year’s Pysanka Workshop! Your experience begins Wednesday as you arrive and settle into the rhythm of the workshop. Head over to the Veselka hall to claim your dedicated workspace, either before or after checking into your room. This "studio" will be your creative home for the duration of the event—a place to gather, share techniques, and watch your designs come to life.

In the studio, you’ll find everything you need to dive right in: a full spectrum of professional dyes, vinegar, water, and "The Works." Each station is equipped with power access for your lamps and electric kistky. Whether you are a master artist or picking up the wax for the first time, you’ll be surrounded by a community of wonderful creators ready to share the flame.

Before you pack: Please be sure to review our What to Bring list to ensure you have all your personal tools ready for the weekend.

What's included

24 hr access to the Studio from Wednesday until 12pm Sunday

Access to classes. (You must be registered in order to attend classes)

Registration & Deadlines

To ensure every artist has ample workspace in the Veselka studio, space is limited. Registration for each option will close on the dates listed below, or sooner if the workshop reaches capacity.

5-Day Workshop (June 3–7): Registration closes May 3, 2026.
1-Day Workshop Option: Registration closes May 22, 2026.

Full Workshop - All levels welcome

Workshop registration fee - $75
Single Occupancy $1,024.80 per person - includes tax, lodging & meals.
Double Occupancy $688.80 per person - includes tax, lodging & meals.
Add a night special: $150+ tax - includes continental breakfast.

1 Day Workshop Pass - All levels welcome

1 day workshop can be any day you choose (based on space). Day begins at 9am.

You do not need to bring any supplies, we will be able to loan you whatever you need (you'll also be able to purchase items on-site).

This one day event registration fee is $50 and includes:

Lunch
Workspace in the "Studio" for the day, with access to dyes and chemicals
2 eggs and wax and pysanka plugs

Add ons

Opportunity to enroll in classes (additional charge)
Dinner (additional charge)

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. To ensure we can properly prepare materials and studio space for all participants, we adhere to the following policy:

Full Refunds

Deadline: May 3, 2026
Cancellations made on or before this date are eligible for a full refund of registration fees.

Workshop Credit

After May 3, 2026: Cancellations received after the refund deadline are non-refundable. However, your registration fee will be applied as a credit toward a future Pysanka Workshop.
