Kentucky musician to play Irish bagpipes and other Irish instruments for your event or gathering.
Thank you for visiting! The historic Irish uilleann (pronounced "illan" – means "elbow" in Irish) pipes are known for their rich, often-mournful quality. (Though they can be plenty cheerful, too!)
Uilleann pipes are much quieter than their Highland-pipe cousins, and considered much more complex, both tonally and technically.
To me, the uilleann pipes are a true "voice of old Ireland." I love playing mine for weddings, parties, concerts, memorials, recording sessions, and other gatherings of good souls. I also play the Irish flute and various Irish whistles; and, should your event call for a larger musical group, I can assemble an ensemble with one or more additional musicians who play Irish harp, fiddle, guitar, bodhran, and other instruments.
So if you're looking to add a truly "different air" to your gathering, give the pipes a chance! Just contact me at the link above for info.
