MY REFLECTION
In my initial semester, I participated in lessons that considerably improved my knowledge of nursing care and administration. In "Critical Thinking and Nursing Theory in Practice," I developed my decision-making abilities by applying nursing theories to real-world scenarios, emphasizing the importance of evidence-based practice. The "Leadership Theories in Nursing" course provided insights into various leadership styles, including transformational and servant leadership, and underscored the role of emotional intelligence in fostering a positive work environment. "Nursing Informatics 1" introduced me to the integration of technology in nursing, focusing on electronic health records and data management, which are essential for improving patient care and communication. Lastly, the "Professional Practice and Writing Strategies" course honed my professional communication skills, highlighting the significance of clear documentation and ethical considerations in nursing. The transformative nature of this semester has equipped me with the necessary skills and knowledge to flourish as a future nurse leader, and I am keen to employ these new competencies in my nursing practice.
