Wirtschaftsgeschichte (Economic History, German)

In this Bachelor level course, students learn about long-run economic development starting from the Neolithic Revolution. The course regards various factors that could potentially explain the divergence in economic growth between regions and over time.  While doing so, students also get acquainted with the empiricial strategies used in the economic history literature and their limitations.
