Fall 2022- For my final poster project I created a poster and presented research from the paper Zinc Application Alleviates the Adverse Renal Effects of Arsenic Stress in a Protein Quality Control Way in Common Carp done by Yu Wang, Hongjing Zhao, Xiaopan Nie, et al.
Winter 2022- For my final paper in the King's Foundation year program, I wrote an essay examining the post-colonial theme of self-determination within Indigenous communities in Jeff Barnaby's 2020 zombie film Blood Quantum. I looked specifically at how philosophy present in the Indian Act and in the Kahawá:ke Membership Law could be extrapolated to explain the actions of Barnaby's characters.
