CatchCat (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you regarding your information.
By downloading, accessing, or using CatchCat, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
CatchCat uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a unique anonymous identifier that allows the App to function properly.
This identifier is not linked to your name, email address, phone number, or other directly identifying personal information.
When you take, upload, or submit photos through the App, those photos may be uploaded to and stored on our servers to provide the App’s functionality.
Photos may be used to:
Save captured cats.
Maintain your collection and progress.
Synchronize app data.
Display captured cats on the map when location features are enabled.
Photos may be associated with your anonymous Firebase identifier.
We do not use uploaded photos to identify you personally, and we do not sell your photos to third parties.
Please do not upload photos containing sensitive personal information, confidential documents, or content that infringes the rights of others.
The App may request access to your device’s location.
Location information is used solely to:
Save the location where a cat photo was captured.
Display captured cats on the in-app map.
Location access is optional.
You may disable location permissions at any time through your device settings.
If location access is disabled, features that depend on location information may not be available.
The App uses Firebase Analytics to better understand how users interact with the App and to improve functionality, performance, and user experience.
Firebase Analytics may collect information such as:
Device type
Device model
Operating system version
App version
Language settings
Country or region
General usage statistics
App interaction events
Analytics information is collected in an aggregated and pseudonymous manner and is not used to personally identify users.
The App uses Apphud to manage subscriptions and premium features.
Apphud may process limited information related to purchases and subscription status, including anonymous identifiers and transaction-related data provided by Apple.
Payment information is processed directly by Apple and is never received or stored by us.
We do not intentionally collect:
Names
Email addresses
Phone numbers
Contacts
Messages
Payment card information
Government-issued identification information
We use information collected through the App to:
Provide App functionality.
Store and display captured cats.
Enable optional map features.
Improve App performance and reliability.

CatchCat is not directed to children under the age of 13.

Your information may be stored and processed on servers located in countries other than your country of residence.
By using the App, you consent to such storage and processing.

Disable location access through your device settings.
Stop using the App at any time.
Delete the App from your device.
