In addition, Understanding media could improve your performance at job or school (for example, producing a compelling essay). In order to fill in any information gaps that the traditional media may have missed, media literacy can also assist people in making decisions about what they want to learn more about.

Importance of digital media literacy

Global citizenship education is a United Nations priority and Sustainable Development Goal. The programs are made to support students in acquiring the fundamental skills needed for global citizenship, such as understanding global concerns and how they relate to one another, effective communication, respect for diversity, and critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
