The Castroverde Lab is currently looking for motivated graduate students (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) to investigate the mechanistic bases underlying environmental regulation of various plant defence pathways.

Research themes include:

    • Regulation of plant immune signalling by environmental factors.

    • Temperature regulation of plant hormone pathways.

    • Evolutionary significance of biotic-abiotic stress interplay.

Candidates should have a solid background in plant biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology and/or microbiology to join our research team.

Currently, I can only offer stipends for domestic graduate students. International students must come with their own independent scholarship/fellowship to be able to join my lab.
