The Castroverde Lab is currently looking for motivated graduate students (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) starting in Fall 2024 to investigate the mechanistic bases underlying environmental regulation of various plant defence pathways.

Research themes include:

    • Regulation of plant immune signalling by environmental factors.

    • Temperature regulation of plant hormone pathways.

    • Evolutionary significance of biotic-abiotic stress interplay.

Candidates should have a solid background in plant biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology and/or microbiology to join our research team.

Graduate students typically start in September, January or May, but is negotiable. Internal and external scholarship opportunities are available. Currently, I can only offer stipends for domestic graduate students. International students must come with their own independent scholarship/fellowship to be able to join my lab.
