Please note - most artwork below is taken directly from the Curse of Strahd book. However, some are not. I have linked to the website I found images that are not in the CoS book where I could in hopes of crediting the artist. For some of these, I could find no original links via Pinterest.
The son of the recently deceased Burgomaster of Barovia, Kolyan Indirovich. Hired the party to escort his sister Ireena Kolyana to safety and out of Strahd von Zarovich’s reach. Ismark did not join the party on their journey to Vallaki.
Young, beautiful, and brave, Ireena found herself the prey of The Devil Strahd. She traveled with the party towards Vallaki and was quite helpful in disguising Firestorm after she came back from the dead looking more wolf like than dragon kin. Ireena was taken from the party by the nobleman Alek Gwilym after they left the two alone. What has become of her?
A frightened and defeated man, Donovich trapped his son Doru in the church’s basement after he was turned into a Vampire Spawn. Doru was put to his final rest by the party.
Matriarch of the Vistani in Tser Pool, Madam Eva is a powerful Diviner. Though her readings are always vague, she seeks to assist those new to the land of Barovia.
Travelers, the Vistani are the only group known to be able to freely travel back and forth through the Mists of Barovia. They are in stark contrast to the local population, dressed in bright colors and fond of dancing, music, and story telling.
The party met van Richten in Vallaki disguised as the elven bard Rictavio at the Blue Water Inn. Having been told by Madam Eva that they would meet a “man who is not what he seems that travels in Barovia in a carnival wagon”, they were able to discover Rictavio’s secret. van Richten informed the party he was a vampire hunter and there to put an end to the Devil Strahd. He also helped the group decipher the meanings behind Madam Eva’s readings.
The Martikov family (Urwin, Danikia, Bray, and Brom [left to right]) own the Blue Water Inn in Vallaki. They view their place as a sanctuary from the despair of Barovia. The group recently found out that the members of this family are all wereravens.
Local hunters that kill and sell wolf meat. Rather quiet and rough, they offer to escort those that need it through Barovia, but at a high cost, which is even steeper if they must travel at night. Spoke of a local named Bluto that was foolishly fishing in Lake Zarovich.
Noblewoman and head of the Wachterhaus.
Evidence suggests she is involved in a Devil Worshiping cult. She claims to be Corvid's Aunt and had the Vistani take him away from Barovia when he was an infant.
Nikolai and Karl Wachter
Noblemen the party met at the Blue Water Inn. These brothers were well into their cups when Bubblegum began to talk with them, learning their mother, Lady Fiona Wachter was “quite rich” and very unhappy with the current leadership in Vallaki. They also informed Bubblegum there were some “strange purple lights” coming from the Burgomaster’s attic. Also mentioned that a “Mad Mage” is known to visit Lake Zarovich and shoot lightning bolts at the fish there.
Baron Vargas Vallakovich - Burgomaster of Vallaki. Vargas is a proud individual and is convinced that his weekly festivals will bring joy to the people of Vallaki. There are rumors that his punishments go beyond days spent in the stocks.
Lydia Petrovna - Wife of the Burgomaster; seems keen to assist in making the town's festivals as cheerful as possible.
Victor Vallakovich - Son of Vargas and Lydia, Victor has been attempting to create a teleportation circle in order to leave Barovia.
Izek is a severe looking man with one large deformed arm that looks to be demonic in nature. Adopted by Vargas, Izek leads the town guard and shows a fierce loyalty towards the Burgomaster.
Much to Corvid's dismay, he discovered that Izek believes Corvid is his long lost brother and has hundreds of dolls carved to his likeness in his room.
Luvish - Large brute of a man, though had a soft side when it came to his daughter, Mina. He made friends with the party once Mina told him they had rescued her and let them pick out one item from his treasure wagon.
Arrigal - Luvash's brother, a bit more cool and collective that his brother, Arrigal had a sly look about him.
Mina - Young Vistana girl gifted with the site. After the party rescued her from Bluto she offered to give them a reading at any time they wish as a gift from her.
Kasimir lives with the other Dusk Elves that make their home near the Vistani camp north of Vallaki.
They work beside the Vistani and Kasimir expressed interest in joining the party if they should ever go to the Amber Temple. He believes there is great treasure there that could assist them in their endeavors in Barovia, but he himself wishes to go there to learn a spell to bring his sister, Patrina Velikovna back from the dead. Her bones currently reside in the crypts of Castle Ravenloft.
Encountered while the party was rested at the Old Bonegrinder, Derrik told them he was there to rescue the childred. He then led them to the Blue Water Inn in Valliki and may be able to escort them to other locations throughout Barovia.
Apprentice of van Richten's, Ezmerelda is a fierce combatant with a no-nonsense attitude. She cares for those around her through actions more than words and wishes to see justice brought to the Lord of Barovia.
The Martikovs run the Wizards of Wine Winery and give their wine freely to the people of Barovia in hopes of spreading some cheer in the darkness of the realm. Davian Martikov (father), Adrian (older son), Elvir (youngest son), Stefania (eldest daughter), Dag Tomescu (Stefania's husband) and Stefania's children: Claudiu, Martin, Viggo, and Yolando.
Called "The Devil" Strahd by his subjects, Strahd resides in Castle Ravenloft that looms over the small village of Barovia. Rumors indicate he hasn't been seen in the realm for almost a decade, his sudden reappearance quite alarming to the villagers.
The party recently encountered him at Yester Hill riding on a Nightmare and throwing fire spells at the giant Tree Blight, Winter Splinter.

Nobleman from Krezk the party encountered after finding his cart and dead horse abandoned on the side of the road. Formidable in battle, he single-handedly took on one of the Hag’s at the Old Bonegrinder. The party, distracted by the other two Hags left him along with Ireena and the two disappeared into the night upon the back of a Nightmare.
Party later meets Alek at Castle Ravenloft and discovered he is Strahd's Commander and also happens to be a werewolf.

Rahandin is a dusk elf that lives at Castle Ravenloft as Strahd's Camberlain. He claims that his family has served the von Zaroviches for centuries, a fact that he is quite proud of.
This elf appeared more suited for the battlefield than a dinner party and only spoke when spoken too, mostly favoring single word replies.
No longer donning a sword and armor, Ireena appeared after dinner was completed at Ravenloft. She was dressed in a long, elegant dark green ballgown accompanied by a large emerald tied tightly around her neck.
She was, by all accounts, happy and clearly still human.

Volenta and Ludmilla are Strahd's "daughters". These two vampiresses danced and dined with the traveler's at Ravenloft.
Volenta is plagued via visions of darkness, which she sees as a blessing. The blood of the Vistani seers flickers in her eyes.
Ludmilla is always calm and poised. Quick to correct those without courtly manners, though she finds mortals boring and below her notice.
Artwork - Volenta by Corbin Hunter, Website unknown; Ludmilla - unknown
Escher (top left) and Helga (bottom left) acted as servers while the travelers dined at Castle Ravenloft. They remained, as good servers do, silent and unobserved during the course of dinner. When the dancing commenced, Bubblegum discovered that Escher is not overly fond of Alek and attempted to sow discord among Strahd and Alek by implying she believed something was going on between him and Ireena. Escher seemed keen on this rumor.
Gertruda (top right) - Villager from the village of Barovia who said she ran away from home and now lives at Castle Ravenloft. She seems overly enamored with her life there and Strahd in particular.
