1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of CastleHero (“CastleHero” or the “Game”), provided by Alok Haldiya (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using CastleHero, you agree to these Terms, subject to any additional acceptance requirements under applicable law. If you do not agree, you should stop using the Game.
Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or restrict.
2. Eligibility and Parental Permission
You must meet the age requirements applicable to the Game in your country and on the relevant app store.
If you are below the legal age to enter into these Terms independently, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to them where required by law. Purchases by minors require any parental authorization required by applicable law and the relevant app store.
An app store age rating describes content suitability and does not replace these requirements.
3. Permission to Use CastleHero
Subject to these Terms and applicable app store rules, we grant you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use CastleHero for personal entertainment on supported devices.
CastleHero’s software, artwork, characters, branding, and other protected content belong to us or their respective rights holders. Using the Game does not transfer ownership of that intellectual property to you.
Restrictions in these Terms do not prevent activities expressly permitted by applicable law.
4. In-App Purchases
CastleHero may offer optional purchases, including virtual currency, bundles, Auto Battle, and 4× Battle Speed.
The applicable store displays the price, currency, and purchase details before you confirm payment. Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to that store’s terms.
Purchased Auto Battle and 4× Battle Speed are non-consumable, permanent unlocks, distinct from temporary access earned through rewarded advertisements.
Eligible permanent purchases can be restored through Settings → Restore Purchases, using the same app store account that made the purchase. An internet connection and purchase verification may be required.
Restore Purchases does not recreate spent consumable currency or previously consumed items. Recovery of remaining balances and gameplay progress may depend on an available save. Purchases do not automatically transfer between Apple and Google accounts or platforms.
Refunds, cancellations, and purchase disputes are handled under the relevant store’s procedures and applicable law. Contact us if a purchase is not delivered or restored correctly. Nothing in these Terms removes your statutory refund or remedy rights.
5. Virtual Currency and Items
Gold, Crowns, medallions, and other virtual resources are digital benefits usable within CastleHero. They cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred to other players, or sold outside the Game.
Purchased virtual currency does not expire merely because time passes. Spending currency consumes the corresponding balance.
We may adjust gameplay balance, item statistics, and prices for future transactions. Such changes remain subject to your existing purchase rights and applicable consumer law.
6. Advertisements and Rewarded Benefits
CastleHero may display advertisements provided by third parties. Rewarded advertisements are optional.
Before you choose a rewarded advertisement, the Game displays the reward and any applicable duration or conditions. Completing the disclosed requirements entitles you to the displayed reward.
Some rewarded advertisements provide temporary access to Auto Battle or 4× Battle Speed. These temporary benefits are separate from permanent purchases. Their timers run according to elapsed time, including while the Game is closed, unless the offer expressly states otherwise.
Wave coin offers grant the displayed bonus after successful completion of the reward requirements.
Advertisements may be unavailable because of network conditions, regional availability, consent settings, or technical problems. An incomplete advertisement may not qualify for a reward. If you complete the requirements but do not receive the promised reward, contact us.
7. Game Progress and Cloud Saves
CastleHero saves progress locally on your device. Supported versions may also provide backup and recovery through iCloud or Google Play Games.
Cloud recovery depends on factors including platform account access, connectivity, available backups, and successful synchronization. Your cloud-save account may differ from the app store account used for purchases.
Deleting the Game, changing devices or accounts, resetting your profile, or replacing a save can affect your progress. A profile reset may become your next cloud backup when synchronization succeeds.
Cloud saves may contain an earlier checkpoint rather than the exact state of an ongoing battle. Restoring one save does not combine its currency or inventory with another save.
We cannot guarantee recovery of every lost or overwritten save. This does not limit any responsibility or remedy required by law.
8. Acceptable Use
You must not:
Use unauthorized software or exploits to obtain purchases, currency, or ad rewards fraudulently.
Circumvent payment verification or security protections.
Interfere with the Game, its supporting services, or other users.
Distribute malicious software through anything associated with CastleHero.
Infringe intellectual property rights or use the Game unlawfully.
We may investigate suspected abuse and take reasonable, proportionate action where technically possible and legally permitted. Contact us if you believe an action was taken incorrectly.
9. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in the CastleHero Privacy Policy.
Advertising permissions, tracking permissions, and other consent choices are handled separately where required. Accepting these Terms does not itself replace any legally required consent.
Third-party platforms and services also have their own applicable terms and privacy policies.
10. Updates and Availability
We may release updates, fix errors, rebalance gameplay, and change or discontinue features. Some functions require a compatible device, a supported operating system, or an internet connection.
We will provide notices and remedies where required by law. Changes or discontinuation will not remove consumer rights or purchase protections that applicable law requires us to honor.
11. Warranties and Liability
We aim to provide a functioning and enjoyable Game, but cannot promise that it will always be uninterrupted or free from errors.
To the extent permitted by law, CastleHero is provided on an “as available” basis, and we exclude warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms.
Any limitation of liability applies only where legally permitted. Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that applicable law prohibits us from excluding or limiting.
Your statutory rights concerning digital content and services remain unaffected.
12. Apple and Google Terms
Your use of the Game must also comply with the applicable Apple or Google platform terms.
For the iOS app, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies unless a custom license agreement is expressly supplied through the App Store. These Terms supplement the applicable license agreement and do not override mandatory platform provisions.
These CastleHero Terms are between you and us. Apple and Google are not parties to them.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and will identify the revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated as required by law, and we will obtain fresh agreement where legally required.
Changes will not retroactively remove rights or remedies that applicable law protects.
14. Applicable Law and Disputes
These Terms are subject to applicable law, including any mandatory consumer protections available where you live.
You retain any right under applicable law to bring a dispute before the courts of your place of residence or another competent court.
You may contact us to seek an informal resolution. Doing so is not a condition of exercising your statutory rights.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
