As a licensed music teacher, I am highly qualified in teaching music to grades Kindergarten through 12th Grade. In my choral ensemble work, my top priority is ensuring every individual feels seen, heard, valued and welcomed. I prioritize community building in the ensemble setting from the first day of rehearsal. These values also transfer to my passion for theatre as I continue to lead with this same emphasis in both my directorial and stage management work. I grew up loving stories, whether it was in the form of  book, song, or play. Because of this, my slogan throughout my music and theatre career has become "Storytelling Through Song." I get so much joy in helping young performers find their favorite method of storytelling and nurturing that passion as it blossoms into beautiful performances.

In private lessons, I focus heavily on process over product. While still maintaining high performance standards, I want to encourage my students to find new ways to engage with the world around them. As we begin working on new material, I focus on the "now" and how we can grow in the moment, while still working towards that end goal but alleviating the stress of perfectionism.

I love working with students both new and old, because watching them grow and improve is such a rewarding experience. I hope to work with you in my studio or on the stage!
