About this Project

The true history of a lodge is not contained within a building or even within the minutes of that lodge. The true history lives within the memories of the members who share a common experience. We all knock on the door, we all receive our degrees, we all return our proficiencies. However, the flavor of those experiences, and the reasons for seeking admission is unique for each individual Mason.

How each man perceives his initiation, passing and raising as well as his place in the lodge is part of his individual Masonic journey. Those stories, from each individual Mason form our true lodge history, each a precious story that must be preserved as faithfully as the minutes of the lodge.

To that end this project was launched. To that end these stories were collected. That the voices of our brothers might not be lost.
