All aboard! Join us this September and October for our fall session of Wild Pages Adventure Club, where beloved stories come to life through hands-on outdoor adventures.
This season we'll journey into the classic American novel The Boxcar Children by Gertrude Chandler Warner. Rather than simply reading the story, children will step inside it—building shelters, Dutch oven cooking, solving mysteries, exploring nature, keeping journals, nature crafting, learning wilderness skills, and discovering the joy of outdoor adventure alongside new friends.
Through this immersive experience, students will strengthen reading comprehension, critical thinking, communication, and language arts skills while developing practical outdoor and homesteading skills, confidence, creativity, and a deeper connection with nature.
Perfect for children who love:
📚 Great stories
🌲 Exploring the outdoors
🏕️ Building forts and shelters
🍳 Outdoor cooking
🔎 Solving mysteries
🎨 Hands-on crafts and projects
🌿 Nature exploration and imaginative play
We can't wait for you to climb aboard and join the adventure!

At Cascade Kids Nature School, every day is an adventure! We explore, make friends, and discover the wonders of nature together.
The outdoors is our classroom, we spend 100% of our time in nature, in every season, and all kinds of weather. Our program encourages curiosity and independence, while thoughtfully integrating academic learning in a natural, play-based way. Children learn at their own pace through adventure, connection, and discovery, building a strong foundation for both academics and a lifelong love of learning.

This summer, we’re thrilled to present our theme: Wild Utah: Powerful Plants. Campers will dive into the fascinating world of Utah’s native plants, discovering how seeds grow, exploring the plant life cycle, and learning how plants shape our local ecosystems.
We offer two camps designed for different age groups: Trail Lambs Day Camp (ages 4–7) and Mountain Rams High Adventure Camp (ages 8–11).
Trail Lambs Day Camp (4-7):
Each day features guided hikes, interactive lessons, read-alouds, group motor-skill activities, creative nature crafts, and plenty of free play and discovery time in the great outdoors. This camp is located at Rock Canyon Park, Provo, Utah each day of camp.
Mountain Rams High Adventure Camp (8-11):
Hiking, scootering/biking, creek exploration/water play, geocaching, and dutch oven cooking! This older group builds skills and confidence during an unforgettable week of high-adventure fun. Each of the four days features a different outdoor challenge while also weaving in this year’s theme: Wild Utah: Powerful Plants. If the weather is warm, campers will also stay cool with fun water games and activities!
Drop-off and pick-up locations may vary each day based on the activity. All locations will be within Utah County, typically in the Provo/Orem area.

Parent Note: If your child is near the edge of our age ranges (ages 3, 7, 8, or 12), we may be able to place them in either the younger or older group, depending on fit. Please consider their hiking experience, stamina, and comfort level when choosing.
Our older group participates in more high-adventure activities. Such as river rafting, Dutch oven cooking, and scootering/biking. They take longer, faster-paced hikes.
Our younger group spends more time on crafts, group games, read-alouds, free play, exploring, and enjoys gentler, shorter hikes.
If your child is on the edge of the age range and has a sibling enrolled, you may choose to keep them together by placing your child in the older or younger group. Whichever feels like the best overall fit.
