Amanda Turcios is a first-generation Latina born to Dominican and Honduran parents. Born and raised in the Bronx, she holds a Bachelor's Degree from Ursinus College in Anthropology and Sociology, with concentrations in Latin American Studies, Gender and Women's Studies, and Politics. Amanda enjoys baking sweets, writing, and going to the beach on a hot Summer day. She is currently the Secretary for the Bard Globalization and International Affairs Program, a tutor for the Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Homework Helpers Program, and a Campaign Strategist and Communications Intern with Casa de la Luna through the Summer Youth Employment Program.
