Welcome to moCar ("the App"), operated by MobileOcean ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
moCar lets you personalize your in-car experience with custom connection, disconnection, and arrival sounds, and customizable dashboard widgets. The App is designed for use with compatible iPhone devices and compatible in-car display systems.
moCar is an independent application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. Apple, CarPlay, and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. Any car brands or models referenced are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.
You may not:
Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the App;
Rent, lease, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App;
Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations;
Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the App.
Your safety comes first. Do not configure, adjust, or interact with the App while driving. Set up sounds and widgets before you begin your journey. You are solely responsible for complying with all traffic laws and for the safe operation of your vehicle. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the App while driving.
Some features of the App require a paid subscription ("moCar Pro").
Plans and pricing. Available plans (for example, weekly or annual) and their prices are shown in the App before purchase. Prices may vary by region and are charged in your local currency through your Apple Account.
Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the rate of your selected plan.
Managing subscriptions. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
Free trials. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under their policies at https://support.apple.com/billing.
Restore. Previously purchased subscriptions can be restored using the "Restore Purchase" option in the App.
The App includes a library of sounds and visual assets licensed for use within the App. If the App allows you to import your own audio, images, or other content, you confirm that you own the necessary rights to that content and that it does not infringe any third party's rights. You retain ownership of your own content; we do not claim any rights over it.
The App, including its design, code, sound library, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license in Section 2, no rights are granted to you.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes to paid features will be communicated within the App where required.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every vehicle, head unit, or device configuration.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 8, 9, and 12) will survive.
These Terms are between you and us, not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Republic of Türkiye, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
