Simon Flowerpot is Amira’s chubby, red-haired happy-go-lucky father. He’s good-natured, kind,

forbearing, and loving, but very goofy too. His favorite thing of all is spending time with his

favorite daughter – Amira! He loves playing the games she loves, making silly faces, tucking her

in for bedtime, but most of all, he just loves to be with her! Like his wife, Simon is a protective

father. He cares about the well-being of Amira and always wants her on the right path. That’s

why Amira loves spending time a lot with him too. The only thing she doesn’t like is when he’s

busy or occasionally forgets about their play date. His favorite catchphrase is “Great balls of

pollen!”

He works at the Ice Cream Parlor and can whip up a nutty banana split. He’s also a classic

antiquarian. He garners a large smorgasbord of mementos, keepsakes, souvenirs, antiques, and

heirlooms from the past. He also doesn’t want to let go of them because he believes they’re

“sentimental.” He also plays a mean accordion! He could play it for days and days without

getting tired of it. As funny and expressive as he is, he's a bit of a klutz. Sometimes he’ll trip

over something and do a pratfall, but he never complains. Simon is a laid-back, ebullient,

supportive man with a mannerly temperament. Amira’s glad to have a fun-loving dad like him!
