A fish of few words, Bubbles is Amira’s 4-year-old lovable, talented pet goldfish, best friend,

and sidekick. Bubbles appears in every

episode, not a day goes by without him. He follows Amira everywhere she goes; if she’s going to

school, he catches up with her. That’s how Amira sees him - more like a little brother. Bubbles is a fish out of water, literally. He can “speak,” usually in small words and phrases, and repeats what Amira says frequently. He also communicates through gestures and facial expressions.

Bubbles is both loyal and playful, yet timid and hesitant at times. As a master of disguise, he

usually hides from Amira at the beginning of the show. His favorite game, of course, is hide-and-

seek. Although Bubbles might try her patience, he always makes Amira laugh. Bubbles

resembles an average preschooler, so he has trouble performing “simple” tasks that seem to be

quite a challenge for him, but with a little courage and Amira’s help, he gets right on top of it.

Whenever there’s a helpful trace to solving a problem, Bubbles is usually the first to point it out.

Together, Amira and Bubbles are an inseparable team!
