Before we get started you will need these three items on hand your vehicle identification number also known as your VIN number, your license plate number and your insurance information to begin.

You can go to the Texas gov homepage and select vehicle registration renewal under top-5 services or you can go to Texas gov forward slash driver and select the vehicle registration renewal link under. Its look like this https://renew.txdmv.gov/Renew/RegistrationRenewalServlet.

The vehicle column now let's get started first select your county from the drop down list and click the green Go button now into your license plate number and the last four digits of your vehicle identification number.

If you don't know what these numbers are click on the question mark icons for some helpful information after you enter your information click the green continue button take a minute to look over this information.

Make sure the description matches your vehicle if necessary use the drop down menu on the left to choose your vehicle major and minor color on the right.

There is a drop down box where you can choose the length of time you would like to register your vehicle for you can purchase a registration sticker that is valid for one year two years or three years.

You also have the option to make a donation in support of the texas veterans and/or texas state parks.

Verify all your vehicle information and click the green yes button to continue now it's time to enter your address and insurance information.

Then select the checkbox to agree that your insurance policy complies with the liability insurance coverage laws. If you'd like to renew another vehicle at the same time click the blue button that says renew another vehicle.

We are almost done into your credit card information including your full name that appears on your card the type of card and number the security code and the expiration month and year when you are ready to complete this transaction.

Click the green submit button you will now be directed to your receipt page where you will have the option to print.

If you click the continue button you will be given the option to sign up for an email.
