Step two is to configure your new browser to maximize your privacy and enhance your experience. You may want to keep Chrome on your computer for this step so that you can import your bookmarks. Once you are done, feel free to delete your old browser. If you are still looking for a new browser, check out my other article on browser privacy. Make sure to do your research before selecting a new browser. There are other good browsers that I have not included in this guide.
Vivaldi is a Chromium fork with a lot of powerful integrated features, like split screen and their iconic side panel.
Safari comes configured well and requires little setup. All you really need to do is add bookmarks and pick a search engine.
DuckDuckGo for Mac has almost no settings at all. Just go into privacy settings and enable everything.
One of the oldest browsers still available, Firefox is a solid choice for most users.
A unique and powerful browser that makes browsing easier.
