App Name: Car Sawari: Carpooling App
Welcome to Car Sawari. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Car Sawari mobile application and related services (the "App").
By accessing or using Car Sawari, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App.
Car Sawari is a peer-to-peer ride-pooling and car rental connection platform that allows users to connect with drivers, passengers, and vehicle providers.
Car Sawari ONLY facilitates connections between users. We are not a transportation company, taxi service, vehicle rental company, or travel agency.
To use Car Sawari, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Provide accurate and complete account information
Use the App in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
By using the App, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
Users may sign in using Google Sign-In or other supported authentication methods.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities performed under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, including:
Name
Phone Number
Age
Gender
Profile Information
Providing false or misleading information may result in account suspension or termination.
You agree NOT to:
Use the App for unlawful activities
Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm other users
Share false ride information
Impersonate another person
Upload malicious content or spam
Attempt unauthorized access to the App or servers
Use the App for commercial exploitation without permission
Car Sawari reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts violating these Terms.
Car Sawari acts ONLY as a technology platform that connects users.
We do NOT:
Provide transportation services
Own or operate vehicles
Employ drivers
Guarantee ride availability
Guarantee user identity or conduct
All ride-pooling and rental arrangements are made directly between users.
Users are solely responsible for:
Verifying user identity and credibility
Confirming vehicle condition and legal documents
Agreeing on ride terms and payments
Following local traffic and transport laws
Taking appropriate personal safety precautions
Car Sawari is a peer-to-peer connection platform ONLY. We do NOT employ, verify, license, or endorse any driver, passenger, or rental provider listed on the App.
Car Sawari does NOT conduct:
Criminal background checks
Driving record verification
Vehicle inspections
Identity validation for users
Users interact with each other entirely at their own discretion and risk.
You are solely responsible for:
Verifying the identity and reputation of users you connect with
Inspecting vehicle condition, insurance, and registration before riding or renting
Sharing ride details with trusted contacts
Using appropriate personal safety precautions
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Car Sawari, its developers, owners, affiliates, and partners shall NOT be liable for:
Accidents or injuries
Theft or property damage
Fraud or misconduct by users
Disputes between drivers and passengers
Vehicle defects or failures
Delays, cancellations, or route changes
Losses arising from reliance on user-provided information
All ride-pooling and rental arrangements are voluntary and entirely at your own risk.
By using the App, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with peer-to-peer transportation and rental activities.
Car Sawari may allow users to discuss or arrange ride-related payments.
Unless explicitly stated, Car Sawari is NOT responsible for:
Payment disputes
Refunds
Failed transactions
Pricing disagreements between users
Users are responsible for confirming payment terms before rides or rentals.
Users may share:
Profile information
Messages
Ride details
Photos or other content
You retain ownership of your content but grant Car Sawari a limited license to use, display, and process such content for App functionality and service improvement.
You must not upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
By using Car Sawari, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.
Car Sawari reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate accounts that:
Violate these Terms
Engage in harmful or fraudulent activity
Create safety risks for other users
Abuse platform features
We may remove content or restrict access without prior notice if necessary for safety or legal compliance.
All App content, branding, logos, design elements, and software are owned by Car Sawari or its licensors and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App without written permission.
We strive to keep the App functional and secure; however, we do NOT guarantee:
Continuous availability
Error-free performance
Uninterrupted operation
Compatibility with all devices
Features may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
The App may use third-party services including:
Google Sign-In
Google Maps Platform
Firebase Services
Your use of such services may also be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Car Sawari, its owners, developers, affiliates, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising from:
Your use of the App
Your violation of these Terms
Your interactions with other users
Any unlawful conduct connected to your account
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Car Sawari shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
Use of the App
User interactions
Ride-pooling arrangements
Rental agreements
Data loss
Service interruptions
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Updated versions will be posted within the App or on our official website. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law principles.
