Cancer Marker

Cancer Marker tests or Tumor marker tests are used to predict patient's response to therapy. It is also known as recurrence of cancer. Cancer markers are substance present in the blood when you have cancer, but it is not completely diagnostic because the lab results may be elevated in certain disease. You may need additional follow-up for definite diagnosis if you have abnormal results in cancer markers.
