American Legion

The American Legion was founded in 1919 in Paris, France. The first posts formed in America were in 1920.

The motto of the Legion is “Veterans serving Veterans”

Membership requirements are that you served on active duty during designated time periods.

Carroll County has (5) Legion Posts which make up the Carroll County Council which meet monthly.
