Carr Counseling Program's Mission Statement 

 The Gerald P. Carr Intermediate School Counseling Program provides all students access to an equitable, data-driven comprehensive school counseling program that supports their academic, social/emotional, and college and career development. Through collaboration with stakeholders, we provide students with the mindsets and behaviors to become successful life-long learners, ethical leaders, and positive contributors to our community and global society. 



Carr Counseling Program's Vision Statement 

The students at Gerald P. Carr Intermediate will be equipped with the academic, social/emotional, and college and career competencies to achieve, prosper and thrive in their personal endeavors. Carr scholars will be self-aware, resilient and innovative. They will work collaboratively with others and become productive members of the 21st century.  



Limits to Confidentiality

What a student shares with their School Counselor is confidential 

UNLESS:

1. Someone is hurting the student.

2.  The student wants to hurt someone.

3. The student wants to hurt themself.

4. The student gives their School Counselor permission to share with another trusting adult.
