Hands-on projects are great additions to any computer science classroom. I love to incorporate these into my curriculum because students are energized when working with hands on, physical projects. The microbit is inexpensive, easy and very versatile with lots of programming options. I love the Raspberry Pi but you do need a number of extra accessories to use it. I like it because students can interact with and hold actual computer hardware in the palm of their hands, very powerful!
