Bee Therapy

Beekeeping offers environmental, biological, economical, culinary, and historical cross-curricular learning experiences for our students. Students have positively responded to the hands-on learning opportunities, developed the habits of mind as scientists, engaged in scientific inquiry, recorded observations in nature journals, taken ownership of their learning as self directed learners, and become advocates for the honey bee and stewards of pollinators.
