I’m Carolina Diaz—C for chingona, A for artist.
I grew up in Mexico City dreaming of distant worlds and ended up chasing them—walking across countries, climbing mountains, diving into oceans, and sleeping under unfamiliar skies.
I am an artist, filmmaker, and climate storyteller. My work moves between image, sound, and narrative, exploring the relationship between people, ecosystems, and transformation.
Rooted in climate justice, human rights, and lived experience, I create stories that are both intimate and political—where beauty, vulnerability, and urgency coexist.
I don’t see art as separate from life.
Everything I do is a way of feeling, understanding, and engaging with the world.
