My first artistic endeavours began in watercolour. I enjoy painting in watercolour and fascinated by how it has a mind of it's own, freely fluid on the canvas. I love the unpredictability of watercolour. It is both vibrant and transparent. The way watercolours can be layered in each piece, connecting and interweaving of pigment, tones, and brushstrokes. I began using watercolours and charcoal from my early years with formal training in school but I never stop learning and expanding my techniques.
