As an electronic engineer, my fascination with light phenomena has been a guiding force in my academic and professional journey. This curiosity led me to explore photography alongside my engineering studies, eventually culminating in a degree focused on optoelectronic systems and their application in industrial processes.

From my paper: Flame spectra-temperature estimation based on a color imaging camera and a spectral reconstruction technique, Applied Optics [source].

During my doctoral and postdoctoral training, I had the privilege of interning at one of the Fraunhofer institutes in the beautifull city of Dresden, Germany, and later at KPM in Kingston, Canada. These experiences enriched my skills in assisting senior researchers and collaborating with doctoral and undergraduate students.

PS. I'm also passionate about illustration

Illustration is the art of visual storytelling. It enhances narratives by turning text into engaging and evocative images. My illustrations aim to merge the written word with visual imagination, creating a harmonious storytelling experience. This 2024 I'm working for a medical journal (Lancet HIV) illustrating their monthly covers. If you feel I can collaborate with you in any science communication through this kind of work,  you can reach me here

Currently, I am seeking opportunities to advance my career, particularly into transitioning to the field of artificial intelligence through research and applied projects . The rapid advancements in AI over recent years have been both challenging and exhiting, I find this field exceptionally rewarding, especially when applying these cutting-edge technologies in practical scenarios. For opportunities to work together or to discuss potential collaborations, please feel free to contact me via email or through my social media channels.
