Now in its 8th year, the Annual Carleton University Graduate Political Science Conference is held every winter semester in the Department of Political Science at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. This year, the Conference will take place on Friday, February 27, 2025 and the room number will be announced to all registrants.
⇨ Who can submit to present?
The conference is a graduate student-run conference spotlighting MA and PhD student work, with a keynote presentation from a respected political scientist. We welcome submissions from graduate students in all disciplines on political science-related topics spanning the spectrum of faculties, methodologies, formats, and dialogues.

This year’s theme is States, Societies, and Structures.
⇨ How long should proposals be?
Proposals should be up to 250 words.

Submissions for the Annual Carleton University Graduate Political Science Conference is open until Friday, January 9, 2026. A second round of submissions is open until January 23, 2026.
