Hi! I’m a researcher in algebra, with a particular interest in polynomial identities of non-commutative algebras. My work combines ideas from combinatorics and representation theory, and in recent years my curiosity has also led me into the fascinating world of non-associative algebras.
Currently, I am a researcher at the Centre for Mathematics of the University of Coimbra (CMUC). I completed my PhD in 2019 under the supervision of Antonio Giambruno through the joint doctoral program of the Universities of Palermo and Catania. Afterward, I’ve held postdoctoral positions in both Coimbra and Palermo. Alongside research, I’ve also had the pleasure of teaching mathematics and sharing my enthusiasm for the subject with students.
For me, mathematics is not only about ideas but also about people. I care deeply about building welcoming and supportive communities in our field. I’m a proud member of European Women in Mathematics, and I actively work to promote diversity and inclusion in the field.
One project particularly close to my heart is Summer JIM Days, a biannual networking conference I founded to bring young mathematicians together in a friendly and dynamic environment where ideas and collaborations can grow naturally.
