RCFE STAFF TRAINING 

These courses are required for RCFE Staff Training, which is a professional designation for those who work with older adults: RCFE Caregiver, Activity Coordinator, Food Services, Manager, including Administrator. 

RCFE Staff Training Courses consist of INITIAL and ANNUAL TRAINING.

INITIAL COURSES

:Staff who are going to work at an RCFE must take the INITIAL COURSES. 

The 20 hour courses are self-paced, so you can complete them at your own pace. 

101 AGING AND CAREGIVING (10 hrs)

102 DEMENTIA CARE (6 hrs)

103 POSTURAL SUPPORTS AND HOSPICE CARE (4 hrs)

104 ADVANCED DEMENTIA CARE (OPTIONAL 6 hrs)

ANNUAL COURSES

:RCFE staff are required to take ANNUAL COURSES every year.  

The 12 hour courses are self-paced, so you can complete them at your own pace. 

201 GENERAL CAREGIVING (4 hrs)

202 DEMENTIA CARE (8 hrs)

• Upon successful course completion, which includes passing the final exam, you will receive a "Certificate of Completion" delivered to your registered email address.
