The Administrator Certification Examination will be administered using a combined web-conferencing and web exam application via Blackboard. Please consult the following list of resources for the Exam:
Exam Fee Information
A fee of $100 is assessed for the exam. Please see the Exam Fee FAQs for payment instructions and information.
The ACS requires a completed Notice of Payment Information: Exam Fees form to be submitted by mail with your payment.
Please Note:
All potential administrators are limited to three (3) attempts to pass the Administrator Certification Examination within 60 days of their ICTP completion date.

After you pass the Exam, you need to the following:
You must apply for the Administrator Certificate within thirty (30) days of passing the Administrator Certification Exam.
Complete and submit the application for administrator certification, using current forms printed from the ACS website or download the following links:
A copy of your Certificate of Completion of the Initial Certification Training Program; and
A check or money order in the amount of one hundred and thirty ($130) dollars, made payable to the California Department of Social Services, or CDSS (please write your “full name and date of birth” in the memo area).
