The influence of online media in our lives has ended up being a most significant revolutionary impact on human life. The monstrous measure of 3.5 billion clients overall is connected to one another by the Internet.

The resulting social media addiction is noticed when a person experiences an extreme compulsion to log in or use social media. They may also feel an overwhelming concern about social media and devote a large amount of time to it.

It is a behavioural addiction, meaning that someone is dependent on an activity or action.

The person spends large amount of time on social media, and therefore there may be a negative effect on their daily activities and personal relationships.

Symptoms of social media addiction may include:

*        A compulsion to check social media frequently

*        Spending long periods of time on social pages neglecting other work or duties

*        Losing interest in doing offline activities or household chores

*        Being irritated or depressed, when not looking at social media

*        Withdrawal symptoms like feeling lost, aloof or detached from every one

*        Conflicts arising as a result of social media use in relationships or within self

Total Duration of the Course: 9 hours, in 3 days.

Each day 3 hours class timed as below-

Introduction to topics of the day- 10 minutes

Audio-visually supported lecture- 1hour 30 minutes

Tea break- 20 minutes

Case studies and question-answer session- 1hour

Certificate of attending the course for ‘Social Media Addictions’ compact course will be awarded to all participants on the final day.
