CARDMUN II SCHEDULED FOR FEBRUARY 27TH & 28TH
Double Delegation Committee
Topic A: The Global Housing Crisis
Topic B: The Global Youth Unemployment Crisis
Chairs: Rida Ikram & Zara Ikram
Hello everyone! My name is Rida Ikram, and I’ve officially made it to my Senior year at Gainesville High school. I’ve been involved in Model UN since my sophomore year and it has become an organization close to my heart and essential to my chosen career which is in Marketing and Finance. This is my 2nd time charing for CARDMUN, and unlike last time, I’ll be charing for a General Assembly! ECOFIN deals with topics I’m deeply interested in and quite ironically it was my first conference in Model UN. Outside of Model UN, I’m an individual deeply interested in the arts, collecting trinkets, debate, and English. If you’ve chosen ECOFIN, I am extremely honored to be your chair. I hope I can make this conference experience fun and memorable for all. Don’t feel afraid to approach me during committee and out of committee, I’m excited to meet you all!!
Hi everyone!
My name is Zara Ikram, and I’m a sophomore at Gainesville High School. I’ve been involved in Model U.N. for a year now, and I’m so excited to take things a step further by chairing my first committee! I’m truly grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to see all the creativity and diplomacy you bring to the table.
Outside of MUN, I’m involved in FBLA and Key Club, and I absolutely love volunteering. I’m also a big fan of baking, so if you ever need a dessert recommendation or have a favorite recipe of your own, I’d love to hear it!
I hope this conference serves as a platform for thoughtful diplomacy, engaging debate, and innovative solutions. Remember, Model UN is not just about competition; it’s about learning, collaboration, and global understanding.
Delegates, feel free to reach out if you have any questions and good luck! I look forward to meeting you all soon :)
