Cool Things Around the School and Where to Find Them
By: Bella Slack and Rebecca Augspurger (The Double B’s)
The first cool thing is Locker #1. You can find this by Ms. Turner’s room right by the big window-ly doors. Here is a picture of the subject (Locker #2 made a cameo)
Another legend of the school is the famous Mr. Schaaf. Mr. Schaaf is a 6th Grade science teacher and overall a cool guy :). We caught the specimen right by Ms. Safranek’s room and were able to snap a picture. You can find his room almost parallel to Ms. Munchalfen’s room. Go find him. He gives kids lollipops. Here is a photo (photobomb by Becca)
Next up is the crevice. You can find one of these in a few stairwells. This crevice is small and easy to lose things in. Please do not attempt to get into it. This is a bad idea. The crevice is what Becca’s pointing at.
The next thing is found in the lunchroom/commons. It is a golden broom that was awarded to a janitor for his many years of cleaning up our trash. You can easily spot this when you walk in. Go marvel at it. Here it is:
This is Bob the desk. He’s a desk. He can be found right outside the lunchroom by the school store. Go find Bob.
This is one of the greatest things in the entire school. THE MEME WALL. Fittingly I used meme text. You can find memes on this about school and it makes school totally not boring anymore. You can find this by Locker # 1 and is outside the bathrooms by Ms. Turner’s room. It is beautiful. Here’s a pic.
Another cool thing is the LIBRARYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! You should read more books there because they have a very good selection. Both me and Becca recommend the Percy Jackson shelves (But I'm a little biased). Anyways, go to the library and check out some books! Here is the shelf at the front of the library with Percy Jackson books.
Right outside of the library is this short “hallway” that has some paper and stuff in it. It’s the home for many small critters including a rare gremlin that was photographed behind some of these paper rolls. You can check it out but I would not recommend it as the gremlin might eat your toes ;)
One last cool thing is Mr. Buvala’s rocking chair and mural outside the art/set design rooms. The mural was hand painted by him and the rocking chair was his but he left it behind I guess. Anyways, this one’s easy to find and y’all have/had art so just go find it.
Also, here are a few extra photos including a pile of lint (left) and “whatever this thing is” AKA a door lock (right) that were taken while me and Becca were out collecting oddities.
This is everything we could find in 10 minutes because Ms. McKee needed us back in the newspaper room. If you find anything else interesting, make sure to tell either me or Becca so that we can add it to the list! Bye for now, the Double B’s.
