Pikachu’d Out!

“Wake up Pikachu!” Ash says, rolling out of bed. “Pika Pika” replies Pikachu. (Translates to: I don’t want to wake up.) “Come on buddy, we have to get training!” *Pokes Pikachu* “Aaaghh!” Ash cries out in pain. Pikachu just electrocuted him! After 10 hours, Ash arrives at the Midnola City Gym, a dark type gym. The gym leader, Yuseff, has a team of a Sabeleye, Zweilous, and his ace, Umbreon! “Well, I have to choose my team!” Ash says to himself. “Impidimp counters Sabeleye, Dragonite would go against Zwelious, and Pikachu for Umbreon.” 

Ash walks up to the stadium. “Impidimp, I choose you!” Cries Ash. “Impidimp!” says the pink and black creature. Impidimp used sucker punch, but it wasn't effective on Sableleye. It just slightly stuns it. Sabeleye used Knock Off, launching Impidimp across the battlefield. “Impidimp, come back with Bite!” Ash yells out. “Major Hit!” says the rotom drone flying above head. “All right, Zen Headbutt!” Yuseff replies. Impidimp stands in the center of the field, unfazed. “It had no effect,” Ash says, matter-of-factly. “Impidimp is immune to psychic-type moves.” It jumps in the air and lands on Sabeleye’s head. It was using Play Rough! Sabeleye collapses, giving Impidimp the victory! 

“Zwelious, I choose you!” Yuseff Cries out. “It looks like he is bringing Zwelious out into the arena.” says Rotom drone “Zwelious, use fire fang!” cries Yuseff. Impidimp starts flying across the arena! It was very effective. Impidimp was knocked out. “Great job, Impidimp” Ash says as Impidimp returns to him. “Alright, let’s go Dragonite!” “Dragonite!” cries the chunky dragon as it appears. 

 Dragonite suddenly charges Zwelious. “It’s using dragon rush!” yells the Rotom Drone. Zwelious gets flung across the arena, right under Yuseff’s feet. “I guess it's time for you to shine, Umbreon” He yells. “Embrace the powers of the great darkness! Mega Evolve!” Suddenly, his Umbreon gets covered in a giant ball. “He is using Mega Umbreon!*” cries the rotom drone. “Breon!” His Umbreon cries as it steps out of the cracked sphere. “Ok. Dragonite! Fight your way to the top with the furry of a thousand thunderbolts! Mega Evolve!” Dragonite is engulfed by a large sphere. “Use dragon claw!” Ash yells as the sphere begins to crack. Mega Dragonite bursts out of the sphere and charges at Mega Umbreon. “Umbreon, phantom force!” Yuseff yells. The two collide and engulf each other in a ball of light, covering most of the arena. In the end, Mega Umbreon dodged the attack with phantom force and Mega Dragonite was knocked out, but Mega Umbreon didn’t escape without taking damage. “Pikachu, I choose you!” Pikachu groans as it rolls out of its pokéball. 

“Umbreon, moonblast!” Yuseff cries. “Pikachu, get up!” Ash says as Umbreon begins charging up. Just as the moonblast is fired, Pikachu sends out an electroweb that catches the moonblast. “Gunk shot!” Yuseff yells. “Pikachu, watch out for the attack!” The gunk shot lands a hit, and Pikachu gets flung into a wall and bounces off like a ping pong ball. Pikachu slows to a stop as it rolls to Ash’s feet. “Pika Pi...” Pikachu moans as it points to Ash’s satchel. Ash rummages through his satchel until he finds... A SANDWICH! Ash gives Pikachu the sandwich. Pikachu immediately perks up and cries out an energetic “Pikachuuuuuuu!!!!” Ash notices this and says,” You feel better, buddy? Now use thunderbolt!” 2 large lightning bolts burst out of Pikachu’s red cheeks and fly in the direction of Umbreon. The second before it hits, Umbreon disappears inro a hole in the ground beneath it. It used phantom force! “Pikachu, jump in the air and use iron tail and try to hit the ground!” The second Pikachu jumps into the air; Umbreon appears there. Before it can realize where Pikachu is, it gets in iron tail to the back! “Umbreee!” cries out Umbreon, in pain. “Umbreon is unable to continue the battle! The victory goes to Ash Ketchum!” says the rotom drone as it returns to the ground. 

“Congratulations, Ash! You did well, friend. I guess I’ll have to improve by next time” Yuseff says “Thanks! You were a formidable opponent. I hope we can battle the next time we meet,” Ash says. Suddenly they hear a scream. “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHH” Ash looks around in shock. “Let’s check it out, Pikachu” Ash says. A person bursts out of the forest north of the gym with a... SHINY LARVITAR?! Then, a group of Beedrill bursts out of the trees right behind them. TO BE CONTINUED...
