Professor Karelovic visits ITQ as part of a collaborative project with Dr. Patricia Concepción and meets with Professor Romel (currently a visiting researcher at ITQ) and professor Avelino Corma and other researchers (Including Dr Daviel Gómez).

Professor Romel gave a lecture at the University of Malaga during his sabbatical semester in Professor Luis Alemany's group. 

Dr. Daviel Gómez, current ITQ postdoctoral researcher andalumni of CarboCat laboratory, was awarded the prize for best doctoral thesis, granted by the Catalysis and Adsorption Division of the Chilean Chemical Society, for his outstanding work on the hydrogenation of CO2 to methanol on modified Cu catalysts.
