석·박사 통합과정인 박제현 학생이 이번 2025년 추계 산업식품공학회에서 "Amylosucrase-induced recrystallization of reuteran: Effects of branched crystalline structure on slow digestibility "라는 주제로 대학원생 발표 경진대회에서 2등상을 수상하였습니다.

“이원민, 김경량 학생,  한·미식품과학자협의회우수 연구논문상 수상”

석사과정 이원민,김경량 학생(지도교수 이병호)은 2024년 7월 15일 한·미식품과학자협의회(Korean American Food Technologist Association, KAFTA)에서 주관하는 2024 KAFTA research paper competition에서 각각 "Biocatalytic synthesis of , α-1,6 linkages on starch structures in different rice species to slow digestion" "Novel types of macrosized α-glucans with α-1,4/α-1,3 branching structures produced by dual glycosyltransferases: elucidation of physicochemical and digestive properties" 라는 주제로 Joh Foundation Award 2등, 3등상을 수상하였습니다.

“2024 미국 시카고 Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) 학회 참석”

석사과정 이원민, 김경량, 이택우 학생이 미국 시카고에서 열리는 IFT 학회에 참석하였습니다.

이원민 학생이 "Biocatalytic synthesis of , α-1,6 linkages on starch structures in different rice species to enhance the slowly digestible property" 라는 주제로, Carbohydrate Division Graduate Student Oral Competition 2nd place 수상하였습니다.

석사연구원인 이택우 학생이 이번 2024년 춘계 한국산업식품공학회에서 "Identification of black corn anthocyanins by HPLC-MS and those inhibitory activity on mammalian α-glucosidases "라는 주제로 대학원생 발표 경진대회에서 3등상을 수상하였습니다.

석사 과정 김형민, 엄하은, 임해은 학생이 각각 "Enhancing the slowly digestible properties of different banana starches by various types of glycosyltransferases " , "Increasing the amount of α-1,6 linkages by different types of glycosyltransferases for enhancing the slowly digestible properties at in vitro and in vivo levels" 및 "α-Glucan-type exopolysaccharides with different linkage patterns attenuate post-prandial glucose spike with the extension of glycemic response" 라는 주제로 석사 학위 논문 심사를 통과하였습니다.

석사연구원인 임해은 학생이 이번 2023년 추계 한국산업식품공학회에서 "Identification of digestive characteristics by the structure of α-glucan type exopolysaccharides from lactic acid bacteria and its potential as a slowly digestible carbohydrate "라는 주제로 대학원생 발표 경진대회에서 2등상을 수상하였습니다.

“이원민 학생, ‘대통령과학장학생’ 선정” 

이원민 학생이 ‘대통령과학장학생’으로 선정돼 지난 22일 청와대 영빈관에서 윤석열 대통령 주재로 열린 '미래과학자와의 대화'에서 장학증서와 메달을 받았습니다.장학생은 학업성적, 인·적성, 사회적 책임감, 과학적 토론능력 등을 평가해 선발하며, 선발된 장학생에게는 매 학기 등록금 전액과 250만 원의 학업장려비가 지급됩니다.

“배다인, 류혜정 학생 석사학위 심사 통과”

석사 과정 배다인, 류혜정 학생이 각각 "Slow glucose-generating property of dextran-type exopolysaccharides produced from Weissella species at the mammalian α-glucosidase level and those applications in porridge" 및 "Enzymatic synthesis of novel α-glucans by dual glycosyltransferases, and those functional properties" 라는 주제로 석사 학위 논문 심사를 통과하였습니다.

“송영보 학생, 한·미식품과학자협의회우수 연구논문상 수상”

박사과정 송영보 학생(지도교수 이병호)은 2022년 9월 20일 한·미식품과학자협의회(Korean American Food Technologist Association, KAFTA)에서 주관하는 2022 KAFTA research paper competition에서 "New insights suggest isomaltooligosaccharides are slowly digestible carbohydrates, rather than dietary fibers, at constitutive mammalian α-glucosidase levels"라는 주제로 Joh Foundation Award 3등상 ($750)을 수상하였습니다.

본 연구실의 책임자인 이병호교수가 한국과학기술단체총연합회에서 주최하는 32회과학기술우수논문상을 수상하였습니다.
